Race clips from Programs & Papers:

Passing was also a rare occurrence in heat number two as Bob Kleinschmidt went on to victory followed by Mickey Nosser and Mike Boyd who swapped positions on lap 2.

Bob Kleinschmidt was in hot pursuit the entire race and made a pass in turn 2 to lead the only lap that really matters - the last lap. Smith had to settle for second, and Mike Boyd rounded out the top three.

Tad Schoonover and series point leader Bob Kleinschmidt were the combatants, and while Kleinschmidt could pull to the inside of Schoonover, he could never pass. Schoonover and Klienschmidt finished one-two, followed by Mike Boyd, Mark Albertus, and Spencer Bolte.

The first of the features was for the Miller Lite A-Mods. Mark Albertus's crew worked hard on his car between his heat and the feature and whatever they did to the car definately help as he led all 15 laps and took the victory. Mike Boyd was well back in second as he held off Tad Schoonover.

The cars failed to complete another lap before the yellow waived again. Mike Boyd got together with points leader Tad Schoonover and the cars became hooked together on the front stretch. The red flag eventually flew for the incident because the cars were so entangled, that the Jaws of Life had to be used to separate the vehicles.

The track they got was not a good track for passing, which was good news for Mike Vogt. From the pole, Vogt would lead every lap and take his first victory of the season. At the end of the heat, we had a situation similar to the week prior when Mike Boyd and Tad Schoonover got hooked together on the front stretch.

Kleinschmit's second place finish still took a significant chunk out of Schoonover's points lead. Mike Boyd edged out Mike Vogt for third, and Jerry Grasse rounded out the top five.

Heat two saw Mike Boyd lead most of the race but he and Fritz Scharf got tangled up on the front stretch and Scharf took over the lead followed by Toby Selmer and Mike Boyd.

The Street Stock heat was led early by Jeff Ingman. Fritz Scharf made a couple of slick moves to go from fourth to first. Jeff Ingman ended up taking second place and Mike Boyd came in third.

Jeff Ingman and John Johnson battled for the lead early in the Street Stock feature. Contact between them gave Ingman a flat and he spun in corner two sending him to the pits. Fritz Scharf took the lead on the restart and went on for the win followed by Ken Valeria and Mike Boyd

Heat two saw Ken Valeria take the lead on lap four from Mike Boyd and proceeded to run away with it. Boyd finished second and Ryan Glembin third.
